About Dayle

As a newborn baby, Dayle contracted Staphylococcus on both lungs. Her mother was told to go home, because the doctor did not think she would make it through the night, and if she did, they would have to scrape her lungs out. The next morning no staff were to be found! Then, when she was 2 and a half, Dayle came down with pneumonia, and again the doctor did not think she would make it through the night.

During the following years, Dayle had another bout of pneumonia, along with pleurisy, ear infections and a couple of operations, along with a few horse riding accidents. She had been given so many antibiotics – all before the age of 12.

Dayle had always suffered from leg pain, which was attributed to growing pains. In her early twenties, she developed a severe back problem that would eventually worsen as she got older. She was told that she would be in a wheelchair at age 35, as the X-rays revealed that her 5th lumbar vertebrae was fused to her sacrum and was worn away on one side.

When she had her first child at 30, even though it was a wonderful birth, Dayle haemorrhaged after 9 days and was put on a drip full of glucose. She wanted them to stop giving it to her, as she was feeling worse as time went on. With crippling pain and barely able to dress herself some days, she became so weak that she was unable to pick up her newborn son.

Dayle contemplated suicide, deeply resigned and emotionally distressed. She believed that she was doomed to suffer for the rest of her life in a wheelchair. Reaching breaking point, Dayle woke one morning to her internal voice saying  ”STOP BEING A VICTIM AND HEAL YOURSELF!”

So she made a pledge to herself then and there that she would never again let people do things to her that were not supportive of her health, and she would change her situation, and how she viewed the world.

When her son was 4 months old, Dayle was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue along with Candida. For 2 years she worked on diet and environmental influences. At the same time, she began to study massage. People said she was crazy (and she agreed), but she still needed to find answers for her back issues and other health problems, and she knew she would be able to get through it somehow.

Dayle’s journey to find knowledge and understanding had begun, and after 10 years her health had improved greatly, however she still needed more healing, as she was still dependent on others to provide her with treatment and solutions to manage her pain.

Another turning point was when she realised that the answers were not outside of herself, so she turned inwards and pushed the boundaries of her awareness, adapting techniques she had learnt. A new-found freedom started to emerge as she began to connect deeply to her body, mind and soul – exploring the expressions between each with a knowing that she was ultimately the consciousness of love, compassion and acceptance to all the suffering and disconnectedness she was experiencing.

For Dayle, it is a privilege to share this life-changing experience with others. To see the power and strength awaken in another individual is truly a blessing.
